Meet our founder
Carrie-Ann Wade is an established communications director with over 15 years experience and founder of Cat’s Pajamas Communications Ltd. She is also part of the collaboration behind the AWEsome Women’s Retreat and AWEsome Women Online.
Carrie-Ann runs the Cat’s Pajamas Collaborative, a membership network supporting those in the creative industry to thrive through identifying opportunities to collaborate.
She has a degree in psychology, media studies and sociology and a post graduate certificate in healthcare communications. She spent four years as the elected chair of a national network of NHS communicators and is currently vice chair of the PRCA (Public Relations and Communications Association) Public Sector Group.
An advocate for women leaders, women in business and entrepreneurs across social media, Carrie-Ann runs the Cat’s Pajamas Convos podcast series and is herself a regular guest on podcasts such as Quiet the Hive and She Almighty. She has spoken at the Thrive in Business Global Business Summit and has been featured in the Leadership Gazette. Carrie-Ann blogs regularly and champions small businesses through the Businesses Built on Passion blog series.
F:entrepreneur named Carrie-Ann as one of the #ialso100 2020, and she was recognised at the House of Lords as one of 100 female entrepreneurs and business leaders.
